The Birdlip has bath scroll arms, that provide a feature of softness, which effectively contrasts with the strong angular shaped back slats.  The edges of the top of the back also have side scrolls that again contrast with the angular shape of this bench.  This contrast offers the key to just why this bench is so contemporary but also so timelessly elegant.

The supports for the Birdlip are extremely strong and quite thick, ensuring that this will last, but also giving it a real design edge, demonstrating that this is a bench that is solid.

This stylish combination of strong, robust and moulded slats with the soft, rolling features of the scrolls sets this bench apart from very flimsy, mass produced benches that are not built to last in the same way that this garden bench is.
